Our client is a global BioPharma company firmly focused on its mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients overcome serious diseases. The Laboratory Notebook issue- recall and retrieval process was not efficient and resulted in long delays and time spent responding to FDA queries. To improve the overall process, PamTen identified several different Lean Six Sigma Methodologies to implement. Some of these included analyzing the current lab notebook process, documenting ‘As-Is’ process and identifying the gaps, documenting ‘To-Be’ process and also determining technology solutions to be mapped to the business process. Ultimately this streamlined the process and severed the costly inefficiencies.
BPM Center of Excellence (BPM COE) for a Global Pharma Company
Our Client is a global BioPharma company firmly focused on its mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients overcome serious diseases. The need was to create a Business Process Center Of Excellence to support their business transformation efforts. The client also wanted to analyze BPM tools and establish a BPM tool competency center that integrated with their IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture and Lean Six Sigma efforts. PamTen, through its expertise in these areas, was able to implement the center of excellence and use of ARIS tool. We also developed various business models demonstrating the business and IT alignment from Strategy to Operations and lastly, felt that it was pertinent to provide training in BPM and ARIS tool suite.
Enterprise Process Management COE for a Consumer Products Company
Our Client is known throughout the world as a leading beauty supply company. The unmet need was to create a Business Process Management Center Of Excellence to support their Supply Chain Manufacturing. PamTen provided a multifaceted solution including setting up the center of Excellence and establishing the BPM Governance. In addition, we helped senior executives from both IT and business to define Enterprise Business Process architecture and also configured enterprise filter and standards among several other comprehensive solutions. Ultimately, processes were simplified and the IT portfolio was reduced through the implementation of this COE.
